  • How do Local Services ads work?

    Local Services ads make it easy for customers in your area to find and connect directly with your business, and filter results based on the services that you offer. When acustomer selects your business, they can simply click your ad and connect with you either by phone or by sending you a direct message request (US only), which you can review on email or with the Local Services app. If a customer used your Local Services ad to hire you and the job is complete, they are then encouraged to leave a review. These verified reviews are posted on your provider profile to encourage other potential customers to book your services with confidence.

  • What is the Google Guarantee?

    When you sign up for Local Services ads, you automatically become a Google Guaranteed business. The Google Guarantee helps you build a strong reputation online, giving potential customers peace of mind that you have been vetted and approved by Google. If a customer is unhappy with the quality of your work, Google may refund up to the amount paid for jobs booked through Local Services ads, with a lifetime cap for coverage.

  • How much do Local Services ads cost?

  • What is the qualification criteria to advertise on Local Services?

  • How do Local Services and Google Ads work together?

    While Local Services and Google Ads share some similarities, you will control your Local Services budget, as well as ad targeting, separately. Both ad services allow you to login with the same Google account, and you can view charges and billing information for both products together.

  • What is Pay-Per-Lead Advertising?

    Pay-Per-Lead means you only pay for leads related to your business or the services you offer.

  • Can I have multiple Google Local Services accounts and locations?

    While you can have more than one Google Local Services account and location, each location needs to have its own address and be verified by our team.

  • How do I add users to my account?

    To add users, sign in to your account on ads.google.com using the same email and password associated with your Local Services account, find the grey toolbar, select the wrench icon, then select Account Access. Here you can add or remove users.

  • How can I change the email address or phone number associated with my Google Local Services account?

    To add or change an email address, log in towww.ads.google.com with your current email and select Account Access. To update your phone number give us a call at 650-260-5700.

    Your ranking is determined by several factors that help Google match local businesses with customers. Factors that can affect your ranking are:

    • Your review score and the number of reviews you receive
