Culture Kings' goals

Australia-based Culture Kings is the go-to destination for streetwear. It offers an extensive and curated range from 100+ leading street, sport and fashion brands from all around the globe.

Culture Kings started with a single store in 2008, but it has since grown to having 7 destination stores and a global online store. Moving forward, the company’s goals were to improve brand awareness (especially among new customers), boost sales and increase conversions. At the same time, Culture Kings also wanted to improve its Return On Ad Spend (ROAS).

Culture Kings’ approach

To achieve its goals, Culture Kings launched new Smart Shopping campaigns on Google Ads. These campaigns use machine learning to automatically optimise ad delivery, allowing businesses to maximise the value that they get out of their ads.

As Culture Kings realised, Smart Shopping campaigns give advertisers the best of both worlds. Smart Shopping combines dynamic remarketing and standard Shopping Ads in a single campaign, which was highly beneficial to Culture Kings. The dynamic remarketing brought the brand’s previous visitors back to its site, and the Shopping campaigns promoted their online and local inventory and boosted website traffic.

Culture Kings’ results

Culture Kings successfully increased its revenue by 28% within the first 3 weeks of their new campaign launch. This was driven largely by new customers, with 1 in 3 customers being first-timers.

While Culture Kings was hoping to hit an ROAS of 10:1, their new campaign achieved an ROAS that was 30% higher than their target. With such stellar results, it’s no surprise that Google Ads have now become a strategic part of Culture Kings’ marketing strategies.
